Xerox and The TSL Group Strengthen Their Alliance and Announce Plans to Expand the Business in Trinidad & Tobago

MIAMI, United States, May 22, 2013 – Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and The TSL Group expanded their business in the market following a great performance in 2012.

The TSL Group has been Xerox’s distributor in Trinidad & Tobago for over 16 years and has shown great growth in all segments year over year. The company has a wide variety of clients from the Public and Private sectors and, among the biggest achievements in 2012, it won 4 segments in a government tender and an important tender to provide printing solutions to a leading educational institute.

In addition, the TSL Group has had huge success in the Office Solution segment in the placement of ColorQube. Its solid ink technology reduces printing waste so you can meet your environmental sustainability goals in brilliant, responsible color. Cartridge-free solid ink is a true consumable, producing up to 90% less printing waste than comparable color laser devices. For instance, after printing 12,500 pages a month for 4 years, a solid ink product’s waste amounts to 40 lbs. vs. a whopping 334 lbs. of waste from a laser device. This solution does not just reduce the carbon foot-print but also significantly reduces the Total cost of ownership.

Additionally, in the Graphic Communications segment The TSL Group has placed a CP1000, a high-speed digital printing press that combines vibrant color with high speed and productivity, in the local market.

After achieving this success, The TSL Group has earned recognition as the Xerox best distributor in 2012 at the annual Xerox Distributor Group (XDG) Kick-Off, held January 16th to 18th 2013 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The TSL Group obtained the Distributor of the Year Award for its operational excellence, organizational structure and investment in the business and participation in trainings and workshops, among other aspects evaluated by Xerox.

“Our local clients require competitive pricing and excellent service and we are happy to provide them with the best Xerox solutions to simplify work in any business environment”, explained Nicholas Galt, CEO, of The TSL Group. “This year we will expand our Graphic Communications and Office Solutions business segments and we plan to increase our sales team to ensure we have a wider coverage of the market”, he added.

Fernando García Cantón, General Manager, XDG, said: "We are very proud of our business alliance with The TSL Group because such a prestigious partner allows us to provide our clients and users in Trinidad & Tobago our leading-edge document technology, services and software for graphic communication and office printing environments of any size. We are strengthening our business in the market Latin America and The TSL Group is a key partner in the Caribbean region.”
